Purpose: The post implementation review template can be used to record the results of an assessment of the consequences of a project, covering benefit realization and issue management.
Process: Actual benefits are assessed against the planned benefits defined in the business case and the project definition.
Any problems or issues are raised and recommendations proposed for their resolution. The issues should also be entered in the issue log and tracked.
Qualification:
- Have all planned benefits in the business case and project definition been reviewed?
- Have resolutions been recommended for all issues?
